Terms & Conditions

Ordering

Our minimum order quantity is a standard case of 12 x 75cl bottles.  We only deliver in full cases of 12 but these cases can be mixed. (i.e. 12, 24, 36,48...)

By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

Because we ship our wines in small quantities to ensure freshness and the latest vintages, we cannot guarantee availability of all products at all times. In the event that a product is out of stock or has changed vintage we shall contact you to arrange an alternative or a refund if   payment has been processed. The placing of an order does not constitute a contract until the order is accepted by us and payment processed. We reserve the right to decline an order if we believe there is any fraudulent activity connected to the purchase.     

For security purposes we can only deliver goods to the invoice or billing address subject to verification by your card issuer. If you would like delivery to an alternate address please contact us after placing your order.

                                                                                                       
Delivery
The minimum delivery quantity  is a standard case of 12 x 75cl bottles.
Delivery is free to a single UK Mainland address.
We will endeavour to deliver your wine within 7 working days although we usually deliver within 3- 4 days. In the event of a problem we will contact you to arrange a mutually acceptable date.

 

Delivery is to Mainland Great Britain. For deliveries to the Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland please phone us on +44 (0) 1582 722 538 email Sales@hallgartendruitt.co.uk before placing your order. We are unable to deliver to The Channel Islands,Republic Of
Ireland ,PO Boxes or Overseas.

 

We use a third party courier and are unable to specify delivery times. Delivery will be between 9am and 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. If the courier is unable to deliver due to no one being able to receive and sign for the delivery they will inform you by posting a card  through your letter box. It is your responsibility to arrange redelivery or collection with them.


 

Returns, Refunds Breakages.
In the event of a breakage we will normally be informed by the courier. However please inform us of any breakages immediately and without fail within 24 hours of delivery. Please do not sign and accept any obviously broken shipments. We will refund the cost of the wine of any wines proven to be broken in transit. Please also check carefully number of cases delivered before signing as we will not be able to refund for missing cases if you have signed for their receipt.
If you receive any wine which is faulty please contact us and retain the wine as we may ask for the wine to be returned to us or we will pick up for analysis . We will refund the cost of the wine if deemed to be faulty.


Privacy
We collect your personal details so as to correctly process your order. We will not pass on your details to any party other than those required to process the payment and effect the delivery. We will not email you with any offers or information without your permission.


Payment.
We receive payment via Protx and Streamline and all transactions on the website are secure.


Pricing.
All prices include VAT and Duty at the correct rate . We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. We endeavour to ensure all prices are correct but we will not be obliged to offer goods if they are incorrectly priced.
